QuickBooks Online · Read only
QuickBooks and Found It OS
What it is
Found It OS reads a business owner’s own QuickBooks Online company into the operations system we built for that business. It is read only. It writes nothing to QuickBooks and never makes QuickBooks send an invoice or an email.
What it reads
Customers, invoices, payments, credit memos, estimates, items, payment terms and the company name. They stay the owner’s records. The system’s AI reads them to answer the owner’s questions. Nothing is sold. Our service providers process these records only to run the owner’s system. That includes hosting and AI processing. They cannot use the records for their own purposes. We train no AI model on them.
How it connects
The owner taps Connect to QuickBooks on the Settings page of Found It OS, signs in on Intuit’s own page and approves the company. We never see the QuickBooks password. Intuit’s accounting permission allows writes; Found It OS refuses every write in its own code. The access and refresh tokens Intuit issues are encrypted at rest and never written to a log.
How to disconnect
The owner taps Disconnect on the same Settings page, or removes Found It OS from the apps list inside QuickBooks Online. Either way the reading stops, and the stored tokens are deleted once Intuit confirms the connection has ended. Records already read stay in the owner’s system, and are exported or deleted when the owner asks.
